All athletes and parents or guardians must realize the risk of serious injury, permanent disability or death, which may be a result of athletic participation. Notre Dame-Bishop Gibbons will use the following safeguards to make every effort to eliminate injury:

• Maintain a continuing education program for coaches to learn the most up-to-date techniques and skills to be taught in their sport

   

• Instruct all athletes about the dangers of participation in the particular sport
